SKYLINER

Find the spot where the skyline lines up.

Each week there's a new lookout in your city. Go to the start, open the outline, and hunt for the one place it matches.

This week

Starter pack

Always open. Good for a first go.

How it works

  1. Go to the start. The spot is within 500 m of it (1 km on hard lookouts).
  2. Press Start to see the outline. Use clues if you're stuck.
  3. Open the camera to lay the outline over the real view. Stop walking first.
  4. Submit a guess when it lines up. Your GPS and the view both have to match.

The outline appears when you start.

Stay on footpaths and out of roads. Stop walking before you look at your phone.

Clues

    Leaderboard

Ranked by fewest guesses, then fewest clues you asked for, then time. Desk-test plays aren't counted.

    Settings

Most phone main cameras are 60–70°. If the outline always looks too big or too small in the camera, adjust this.

For testing at home. Tap the map to set where you are, and use a photo instead of the camera. The demo lookout shows a generated scene. Desk plays don't count on the leaderboard.

    Your location

Skyliner uses your location to check you're at the start and to judge guesses. Your coordinates are never stored. The game keeps only how far each guess was from the spot.
